Directions

From Turin Airport take motorway towards Turin. Take Uscita 1 signposted Tangentiale following signs for Frejus/Bardonneccia. After about 8km you will see big supermarkets on left Carrefour/Castorama etc. Shortly after this is the exit for the chalet, signposted Frejus, Claviere etc
Once on the new motorway you will go thru 3 tolls (90c, 3.40e, 4.60e) (about 45km) After the last toll take the third exit, signposted Cestriere, Claviere, Montgenevro.(immediately after a slip road coming onto the motorway) Don’t miss it as you will end up at the entrance to the Frejus tunnel about 15km away and have to turn around. Take exit ramp which takes you up over motorway and into a short tunnel.

At end of tunnel the road splits and you go right following signs for Claviere & Montgenevre.

After about 10km in town of Cesana Tse you go right still following signs for Claviere & Montgenevre.

At this point you will start to see signs for Briancon.

Continue thru village of Claviere, over the French Border and into Montgenevre (Ski resort )lots of slopes and lifts on left.

Continue on this road and go down the mountain into Briancon

Once in Briancon follow signs for GAP. This takes you round the outskirts of Briancon, past a large supermarket (Geant!) and McDonalds, continue down the hill and through a set of traffic lights.

Leaving the town you come to a roundabout (Centre Commerciale Sud on left) Keep going for about 1.5 km, past a layby and you will see Intermarche Supermarket on right. Turn right go past entrance to Supermarket and petrol station. Follow road round to right and continue on for 200 m, Chalet Berwyn is the house on the corner on the left.

Directions from North and South:
Three Motorways take you to within 100 km of the resort :
From Paris and Lyon Motorway A43 (via Frejus Tunnel from north) : Exit Oulx, Montgenèvre, 35km from Serre Chevalier.

From Marseille, Montpellier, Take A51 motorway via Aix en Provence, Sisteron. Exit "La Saulce" at 90 km from Serre Chevalier. Much of the road is 3 lane.
From Grenoble, Lyon or Paris : Motorway A51 exit Pont de Claix at 80 km from the resort via Lautaret Pass (33 (0)4 92 24 44 44 : Traffic info for the passes : Lautaret and Montgenèvre
