Winter at Chalet Berwyn
We are winter sports enthusiasts who have been on numerous winter holidays and know what is required to make your holiday enjoyable and hassle free. The experience gained in our North Wales Activity pubs has given us particular insights into the needs of people on active holidays (great food, good beds, hot showers etc) and we are adept at organising the perfect balance of activity and relaxation.
Chalet Berwyn is a catered ski chalet near Briancon in the Serre Chevalier region which is the third largest winter sports area in France.
All major winter sports are catered for in the area including downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ski touring, heli skiing, ski mountaineering, tobogganing and ice skating.
Other facilities in the area include a fantastic swimming complex in Briancon (indoor swimming lanes, recreation pool and for the brave an outdoor pool), indoor tennis, bowling alley, cinema, casino and theatre.
Nearby is an ice driving circuit as well as horse riding and snowmobile rides. There are also numerous bars, bistros and restaurants in the area.
Non skiers and apres ski:
Briancon has fantastic sporting facilities, swimming pool (indoor swimming lanes and a recreation pool, plus an outdoor pool for the brave), sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, ice skating rink, indoor tennis court, bowling alley, cinema, casino and theatre.
Numerous bars, bistros and restaurants.
Serre Chevalier offers in addition to the above thermal baths, horse riding, driving on ice circuit and snowmobile rides.
